Extraordinary Fashion 2023
Ovarian cancer is known as the silent killer. Every 48 hours in New Zealand one woman will lose her life to this hideous disease. By the time 85% of women are diagnosed the disease is in the later stage, limiting treatment options.
We were very pleased to raise funds to help train a dog like Hunter to detect ovarian cancer.
In 2021 we hosted three exclusive events to raise funds to enable St John to train women paramedics.
The first exciting event was:
“An evening with …. Margi Robertson”.
Past Extraordinary Fashion shows have raised many thousands of dollars for local community causes such as Life Matters Suicide Prevention Trust, Plunket, Women’s Literacy Groups, Breast Cancer Research and many more.
