Celebrating International Women’s Day in Dunedin

Our International Women’s Day breakfast was once again held in the Heritage Room at the Grand Casino.

Featured speakers included:

  • Professor Reremoana (Moana) Theodore, Director of the Dunedin Multidisciplinary Health and Development Study and former Director of the National Centre for Lifecourse Research.
  • Caitlin MacRae, biomedical researcher and Zonta STEM Scholarship recipient, whose PhD research focuses on polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and gender equity in health outcomes.
  • Mayor Sophie Barker, Mayor of Dunedin, with a background in heritage conservation and economic development.

Thank you to all who attended, and to Dunedin Casino for hosting and providing a wonderful breakfast.
