Held in the stunning Heritage Room at the Southern Cross Hotel, we gathered for a seated breakfast and ‘in conversation’ talk with Dr Margot Skinner of the School of Physiotherapy and Sarah Munro of Company of Strangers, with our own Bex Twemlow.
First marked by the United Nations in 1975, the theme for this year’s IWD is ‘Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress’ and we are proud that all proceeds after costs will go to our STEM scholarship, investing in the next generation of young women.
