July Club Meeting

Tonight’s meeting welcomed some visitors – Prue and Anne who we hope we will see again, Annette from the St John Ambulance to accept the funds raised from our Fashion Evenings, and Joy, a genealogist who showed us some New Zealand websites that can help us trace our family trees in New Zealand.

Here are links to some of the sites that Joy showed us:

Births, Deaths and Marriages

Papers Past

Dunedin Cemetery Search

Although it was raining outside, the Dunedin Club gave us their usual warm welcome and delicious dinner. Annette from St John described the organisation and told us how our funds of $14,000 will help with the professional development of women paramedics in Dunedin. We hope to hear from her again later in the year for an update on the training.
